Shannon Beador Is Not a Fan of 'RHOC' Newcomers -- And Vicki Gunvalson Might Know Why
View StoryVicki called up Tamra and was given permission to swing by the restaurant where she and Eddie were eating so she could finally apologize for perpetuating that rumor last season that he was gay.
"We have had a pretty good journey, and I love your wife. And therefore, I love you because you're a recipient of that love," Vicki said to Eddie as her whole body trembled. "And I messed up. As God as my witness, I never meant to hurt you. There's no excuse for it. We were in such a bad place, and I was wrong, 100 percent. So I'm asking if we can be friends. I know it might not be the way it was maybe before, but Steve wants to get to know you. Now is the time."
Eddie stared at Vicki and calmly replied, "The biggest effect you had on spreading the rumor is on our relationship. It just caused a strain between us because she was under a lot of stress and she was trying to protect me. And I didn't care! It didn't matter to me."

Vicki almost fell out of her chair and begged Tamra to lower her voice. She then begged Eddie to forgive her as she pulled out a piece of paper that had written on it numerous bible verses she had been pondering regarding the situation.
"No. 1 -- when to keep your mouth shut," she began. "No. 2 -- when you haven't verified the story. No. 3 -- if your words will be a poor reflection of the Lord or your friends and your family. No. 4 -- when you would be ashamed of your words. No. 5 -- if your words would convey a wrong impressions. No. 6 -- if the issue is none of your business. No. 7 -- if your words will damage somebody's reputation. No. 8 -- if your words will destroy a friendship."

Eddie accepted Vicki's apology, and the two hugged it out. Relieved beyond belief, she called up Kelly Dodd to tell her the good news. Kelly then invited her to come over to see her new place and grab a bite to eat, but while Vicki was on her way over, Kelly was hit up by numerous people saying they had heard a rumor about Vicki. The rumor was that Vicki and her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, had set up Kelly's ex-husband, Michael Dodd, with one of Vicki's friends.
"I didn't hook up Michael," Vicki told Kelly when asked about the rumor. "I had a barbecue four months ago. My friend was there, and he was there. I didn't hook up anybody. They communicated afterwards. I'm out."
Kelly was calmly listening to Vicki's explanation of events until the latter blurted out, "Steve and I have gone out with them a couple of times."
