Burnett's wife, Roma Downey, says she and her husband were "ambushed" by Arnold, resulting in a bruise on her hand.
Tom Arnold is claiming that Mark Burnett "went apes--t and choked" him Sunday night at the Evening Before Emmy fundraising party.
A source with knowledge of the situation told Variety that a scuffle involving both men occurred around 9:30 as they were walking into the event. The source says it was broken up quickly by security and both men were allowed to attend the event.

Burnett has not responded to the situation, but his wife Roma Downey, who was with him at the event Sunday night, tweeted a photo of a bruise on her hand she alleges came from Arnold when he "ambushed" her and Burnett. Her tweet came more than an hour after Arnold's.

Arnold quickly responded to this, tweeting, "Bulls--t. You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I'm filing police report and suing you for defamation."
Magician Penn Jillette Says He Heard Trump Say 'Racially Insensitive Things' on 'Celebrity Apprentice'
View StoryOne attendee told Variety that Arnold could be heard asking Burnett about outtakes from "The Apprentice." Arnold is hosting an upcoming Vice show entitled "The Hunt for the Trump Tapes," which premieres Tuesday.
He claims that Burnett has and is holding back "Apprentice" tapes of Trump using racial slurs and saying other offensive things. Arnold was a contestant on the show. Both Burnett and Trump have denied the existence of any such tapes.
At this time it is unclear exactly what happened during the altercation, but Arnold seems to be suggesting that he has video of the incident from documentary filmmaker Bryan Fogel, who he says was with him.
The LAPD has not yet responded to The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment, but Arnold's lawyer Marty Singer claims that Burnett "attacked" Arnold.
Roma knocked Bryan Fogel's phone out of his hand after Mark Burnett chocked me. Bryan came with me. He won the Oscar this year for his amazing documentary Icarus. He has tape. https://t.co/nPJyDAarsE

Since the incident, there have been a few updates from other Hollywood celebrities in attendance who either witnessed the altercation to some extent, or saw Arnold after. This is a developing story.
