"What I love about 'All Day' is that it's talking about a very millennial, current real thing. So many people these days, even when they're in a relationship, will text instead of picking up the phone or doing it in person," Maslow said when asked about the meaning of the song.
"We're on our phones all of the time, so the song is in so many ways saying like, 'Yo, I can flirt with you over text all day, but I'd so much rather do this in person,'" he continued. "And that's exactly how I feel about that, even with my girlfriend, I only want to text so much. I'd rather call and I'd so much rather be with her in the real world."
"It's that lustfulness, too, of wanting to be around a person all day," Dominique added.
Although he's an actor with several movies in the pipeline, Maslow told TooFab his music career is his No. 1 passion. He credits his experience with BTR, a boy band that doubled as the cast of a Nickelodeon TV show, for instilling in him the "discipline" required to juggle his busy schedule.
"If I didn't have that experience with Big Time Rush, I think doing this now, trying to maintain both those worlds, would be stressful," he said. "Whereas now, this is what I'm used to. I'm grateful that it was basically a paid learning opportunity."
