This year it was a double whammy, as the unofficial pop-culture holiday fell on a Wednesday.
Get in losers, it's October 3rd.
It's been 14 years since "Mean Girls," first graced theaters, but stars Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Jonathan Bennett and more are celebrating the unofficial pop-culture holiday as if it were yesterday. The actors took to their social media accounts to post in honor of the special day. This year is extra noteworthy because October 3rd falls on a Wednesday and "on Wednesdays, we wear pink."

Tyra Banks Reveals Lindsay Lohan Will Appear In 'Life-Size 2' and Says Sequel Is '10 Times Better Than the Original'
View StoryFor those of you that don't know the significance of this particular fall day, it's derived from a scene in the 2004 comedy when Aaron Samuels (Bennett) asks Cady Heron (Lohan) what day it was in math class. Every year since the film's release, October 3rd has become a day to celebrate the film, wear pink, and maybe even eat some cheese fries.
Lohan posted a video to her Instagram account Wednesday of a friend asking her what day it was, along with her giving her character's answer, "It's October 3rd." The actress-turned-clubowner captioned the clip with "#OnWednesdaysWeWearPink 💕."
Bennett utilized the holiday as an opportunity to market his "Mean Girls" themed cookbook, "The Burn Cookbook," which was released on Monday. The book, which is obviously a reference to "The Burn Book" in the film, is filled with "real recipes to feed your inner plastic," and also includes a foreword from Lacey Chabert a.k.a. Gretchen Wieners herself. (That's so fetch.)

Seyfried also posted a photo of the cookbook to her Instagram along with the caption, "It's October 3rd #onwednesdayswewearpink 🧠🎀💖"
Rajiv Surendra, who played mathlete Kevin Gnapoor, created a collaboration video with BuzzFeed DIY, showing off his impressive calligraphy skills. The former actor posted the video of him writing "It's October 3rd" on a chalkboard.
