Blink and you might have missed Missy Elliot's "funky white sister" rocking out during the 2018 American Music Awards Tuesday night.
During Ciara and Missy's performance during the awards show, the camera flashed to Mary Halsey, who appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in August after going viral with a karaoke version of Missy's 2002 hit "Work It."

It seems that Missy and Mary have remained friends. Nonetheless, Mary was spotted in the AMA audience at the perfect moment, rocking out to Missy and Ciara's electric performance.
There's no doubt Mary is a viral sensation as the crowd went wild when her moves were put on display. We're hoping there's another Missy/Mary collab in the near future.
