'MAGA Bomber' Suspect Cesar Sayoc Threatened Jim Carey, Ron Howard, Kathy Griffin and Other Stars on Twitter

Outspoken Trump critic Robert De Niro wasn't the only Hollywood target for Cesar Sayoc, the suspect nicknamed "MAGA Bomber" after his arrest in connection to a series of explosive devices mailed to Democratic politicians and high-profile supporters.

Jim Carrey, Ron Howard, Kathy Griffin and other stars were discovered to have been the subject of Twitter threats from Sayoc, who was arrested Friday morning.

Sayoc operated two Twitter accounts -- both of which were suspended hours after his arrest -- that were filled with tweets supporting for President Donald Trump as well as right-wing conspiracy theories and disturbing images, including gruesome and violent photos of animals and reptiles.

Through DNA, it was confirmed that the Florida native was connected to the 13 explosive devices sent to 11 famous figures, including Hillary Clinton, President Barack Obama, Democratic Senator Kamala Harris, Congresswoman Maxine Waters former Vice President Joe Biden and billionaire Democratic donor George Soros. All of these individuals have been vocal critics of Trump.

Sayoc went after Carrey a few weeks ago after he spoke out against Trump supporters on "Real Time with Bill Maher." Sayoc poked fun at Carrey's ex-girlfriend's suicide and called him a drug addict.

"Hey piece s--- your such sorry your girlfriend committed suicide, because you," Sayoc captioned a pic of Carrey. "Your [sic] were such slime refuse to pay for funeral fact Chk facts. We will see you real soon a promise."

"Hey slime scum don't ever think for anyone you degenerate, highest rate divorce, alcoholic Hollywood drug attic [sic], Meth head rehab relapse b----," he wrote in another tweet. "We Unconquered Seminole Tribe have a real special air tour lined up for u. Not option. on our land Swamp Everglades. See Usoon enjoy last days."

Sayoc, who has a criminal record, also wrote some deranged tweets about Oscar-winning director Ron Howard, paired with terrifying photos of alligators eating people.

"Hey slime sack you movie and u puppet suck," Sayoc wrote. "Like make threat Beverly Hills bitch. We Unconquered Seminole Tribe are going answer your threats pathetic scum. We have air boat tour of our Swamp Everglades. Hug your loved ones real close every time. U [sic] leave your home. See u soon silence."

Sayoc went after Griffin as well. "KG will be abolished once for all," he tweeted. The comedian infamously infuriated Trump supporters when she posed for photos with a bloody prop of Trump's severed head.

Other public figures that enraged Sayoc included Parkland High School shooting survivor David Hogg, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Rob Reiner, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Obama.

Sayoc faces up to 58 years in prison.
