NeNe also opens the door to a friendship with Porsha -- and we're loving every minute of their foolishness.
Sunday night's "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 11 premiere was packed with tons of new information (that we're not-so-secretly hoping leads to tons of new drama).
After Kim Zolciak got eaten alive during the Season 10 reunion, she decided to bow out of the franchise -- and on Sunday's premiere, there was no mention of her whatsoever. There was also no mention of Kenya Moore, even though most of the cast attended her baby shower.
Porsha's found a new boo! His name is Dennis McKinley, and they've been dating for five months. (We find out later this season she's pregnant!) But let's slow our roll.
Dennis is a nightclub and lounge owner who's got plenty of money and wants to spend it all on his lady. During the premiere, the two even went ring shopping at the same place she got her first engagement ring -- but she didn't tell Dennis that. (Smart girl.)
Porsha revealed to Bravo cams that the two said "I love you" on their very first date, so it's not shocking they're already looking for jewelry. Porsha and Dennis are getting ready to head to Miami for the weekend, and Porsha's convinced he's gonna pop the question during their trip.
Since the last time we saw NeNe, Gregg was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. NeNe choked up as she recalled the day -- Cinco de Mayo -- Gregg was in such excruciating stomach pain, he begged her to take him to the hospital. That's when he was diagnosed.
He was admitted to surgery, and a portion of his colon was removed. He's currently in remission, but NeNe still has her "moments." She's trying to stay strong.
Since last season, NeNe's friendship with Porsha has not only rekindled -- it's downright flourished! During the premiere, Porsha went over to see NeNe and did whatever she could do to make her laugh, which included putting on booty shorts and twerking. It worked! We were dying, too.
NeNe mentioned she was planning to go to Miami for a stand-up show, so she and Porsha decided to join forces and combine trips. Porsha called up Kandi, who agreed to go even though she still feels some type of way about Porsha. Although the phone call was pretty cringe-worthy, it wasn't as terrible as it could've been given their history.
Cynthia and Eva agreed to go, too -- but NeNe has no idea! It's a surprise.
Kandi's just as busy as she was when we left her at the reunion. She's touring with her '90s girl group, Xscape, in addition to running a restaurant, several businesses and raising two kids. At one point during a family dinner, she mentioned she wanted another baby (she still has two girl embryos), but Riley doesn't want her already busy mom to have any more children.
"At the end of the day, Riley, for us to afford the things that we have and the lifestyle, people have to work," Todd told Riley, who shot back, "The money doesn't matter if you're not around."
Riley's also looking amazing these days. She's lost 52 lbs. since last season. As her mama said, she's "glowing up!"
Cynthia's also in a very happy and very new relationship -- this time, with Fox sportscaster Mike Hill. Cynthia said they met through her friend, Steve Harvey, and that they've been seeing each other for three months.
Sadly, Cynthia and her man live very far apart. Mike's in Los Angeles, and it doesn't sound like he's willing to move. But the two are very happy. He's even met Noelle!
Cynthia also revealed to Bravo cams what makes Mike different from some of her previous relationships. "He has definitely swam in the cool waters of Lake Bailey," she boasted. "Several times."
Okay, Ms. Bailey.
Last time we saw Eva, she was extremely pregnant and just about ready to pop. Since then, she's given birth to a perfect baby boy. (Seriously, Michael Jr. might be the most beautiful child we've ever seen.)
Eva's also engaged! She and Michael are getting married in three months, and the mom of two is stressed to the max. But she's still got time to get back to her "America's Next Top Model" roots with a precious family photo shoot. "The smize will never go to waste, honey. She stays put," she told the camera.
Eva also threw some shade Cynthia's way, saying, "The difference between Cynthia and I's modeling style is about 20 years."
Next week, the girls hit up Miami -- and Porsha finds out her man has some type of history with Kandi.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
