While addressing the rumor that she's leaving the series, Lisa takes a subtle jab at her co-stars.
TooFab caught up with the reality star and restaurant mogul Thursday night at her third annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation gala. Noticeably absent from the event were all of Lisa's "RHOBH" co-stars, who are currently vacationing in France.
When we asked Lisa if there was anyone in particular she wished would have come to the event, she said, "Oh, I really wanted Sharon Osbourne to come, and she couldn't come."
"But you know what, there's a lot of lovely people here," she continued. "It's a busy town. It's getting to be a busy time of year. And also, it's a very--" Lisa's husband, Ken Todd, was a few feet away, chatting with other reporters.
"I don't trust what he's gonna say!" she said, looking over at her husband. The reporter assured Lisa they were "talking about his outfit," but Lisa was not having it.
"No, no," she said sighing. "He will sit there and he will go, 'Oh, yeah, she's leaving. Did I say anything wrong?' He will say whatever he wants, and then he'll be at the bar and go, 'Oh, well. Whatever.' This is why I don't take him with me on the red carpet!"
"Ken! You need to go and organize the tables," she playfully yelled at him.
"Honey, I will not say anything about you leaving the Housewives!" he shouted back with a smile.
"You know what, he doesn't know anything that's going on," she told us. "If I was gonna leave, I would say that. I've been on the show -- well, it's been eight years since we started, and we're on our ninth season. But this year was very challenging for me, emotionally. And doing 'Vanderpump Rules,' opening TomTom, being Editor-in-Chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine -- I felt emotionally vulnerable."
"I was trying to do everything I can with the Vanderpump Dogs rescue center, trying to organize this [gala]. We were going to Congress and being political and -- it was so much," she continued. "I also have four restaurants, so maybe I wasn't as prepared as I should have been, but I am in the show, absolutely. It's just I don't make it all the way through."
Lisa didn't elaborate further on what she meant by "don't make it all the way through," and when we asked if she was "still the queen bee," she humbly replied, "I never was. They say that."
We then asked Lisa about her Season 7 tagline: "The crown is heavy, darlings, so just leave it where it belongs."
She smiled and said, "It's heavy, I told you. So heavy, they can have it -- just doesn't fit."
