"We both had a lot of resentment with our father," Jada explained in the clip. "We had that feeling like we had to be responsible for him, but he never had to be responsible for us and that was a hard pill for me to swallow."
Caleeb clearly agrees, giving an emphatic "Yes" as his sister speaks.
"He also came with the attitude that you guys owed him something," added Jada's mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris. It's worth noting Jada and Caleeb have different moms.
"The issue for me was when I got into the position that I got in and then he wanted to have a relationship," Jada continued, speaking about finding fame and success in her career. "That hurt me."
In the full episode, the siblings will open up about their struggles forgiving a man who developed a nasty drug habit and abandoned them at a young age.
According to a release, the two will also speak about the "long, painful and liberating journey" they went on before they eventually found peace. Willow Smith will also talk about her relationship with "the Grandfather she knew in a completely different way."
Banfield-Norris previously spoke about her violent relationship with their father, revealing just some of the alleged physical abuse she suffered while they were together.
New episodes of Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris drop every Monday at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET on Facebook Watch.
