Actor also shades the president with "Individual 1" reference.
Jimmy Fallon's ridiculously dumb impression of Donald Trump just got a little more realistic if Christian Bale was being sincere with a short, but hilarious story about meeting the future POTUS while filming a Batman movie at Trump Tower.
The Oscar-winning actor told Variety at the premiere of his new political movie, "Vice," that Trump may have legitimately thought he was Bruce Wayne.
"I met him, one time. We were filming on 'Batman' in Trump Tower and he said, 'Come on up to the office,'" Bale said as he laughed his way through the short story. "I think he thought I was Bruce Wayne, because I was dressed as Bruce Wayne. So he talked to me like I was Bruce Wayne and I just went along with it, really."
"It was quite entertaining," Bale added. "I had no idea at the time that he would think about running for president."
Dear Jimmy Fallon, if you happen to be reading this, please turn this into a sketch when Bale inevitably stops by "The Tonight Show" during his publicity tour for his new movie, which has already been nominated for six Golden Globes.
Bale, who plays former Vice President Dick Cheney in his new movie, also threw subtle shade at the current president when he said, "And this story is how we got to be here with that Individual 1 being president."
Individual 1 has become synonymous with Trump after U.S. prosecutors filed papers in court last Friday saying President Trump's former personal attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, admitted "he acted in coordination with and at the direction of Individual-1" to illegally use campaign funds to payoff two women this not-so-secret "Individual 1" had affairs with.
