Surrounded by the OG "Housewives," Cohen wrapped 2018 on "Watch What Happens Live" with the bombshell announcement that he'll be a father in approximately six weeks.
If you thought Andy Cohen gathering the OG "Housewives" for his year-end "Watch What Happens Live" extravaganza was exciting -- and it was -- his show-ending bombshell reveal was absolutely mind-blowing.
The king of "oversharing," as he put it has clearly been holding onto this secret for a little while, but he decided to share it with both his viewing audience and the women who helped him become the Andy Cohen that we all know and love: Nene Leakes, Kyle Richards, Ramona Singer, Teresa Giudice and Vicki Gunvalson.

View Story"To the viewers at home, I call you my friends at home because we are friends," he said, looking directly into the camera.
"Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks time I am going to become a father, thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future."
There were squeals of delight from the ladies sitting across from him as well as the studio audience, while Andy looked particularly moved by the thoughts that must have been swirling through his head as he contemplated this amazing new future on his horizon.
"Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life," he said. "And though it's taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet. So happy holidays and happy new year to all of you."
Only now we're totally feeling impatient for this little one to show up. We can't possible wait six whole weeks! And, because Andy is the king of opening up his life to us, we expect so many amazing updates and stories. Raising a child changes you in fundamental ways and makes you a better version of yourself.

View StoryIt was so wonderful and touching that he shared this special moment with those five women. They've all been through so much together, becoming household names and achieving amazing success through this crazy "Real Housewives" vision.
It's been a wild ride for all of them, and now they get to watch him as he finally gets to experience some of the things they know about all too well.
We're not sure how to make this happen, but we're ready for Andy to join the cast of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and bring his new baby so we can watch everything unfold. You said you "overshare" and we are totally here for it!
