Reflecting on THAT infamous photo, Paris spills on her relationships with Britney and Lindsay -- and why she's no longer friends with the latter.
It's one of the most '00s photos ever -- Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, together for one night only -- and now, Hilton is spilling more gossip about what really happened that night.
12 years ago, in the wild, celebrity club-hopping days of 2006, the paparazzi stars aligned, giving us a photo that has since been dubbed "The Holy Trinity." And, the more backstory we get, the more amazing it gets.
The shade jumped out during an interview Paris just did with Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show this week, where Hilton doubled down on her assertion Lohan was merely a hanger-on that fateful evening.
"Well Britney and I went out for the night," Hilton said when Cohen asked for more details about the photo. "[Lohan] totally party crashed."
"We were all at the Beverly Hills Hotel, at the bungalows at an afterparty and Britney and I wanted to leave to go home and then [Lindsay] started like chasing us and squeezed into the car," Hilton continued. "It was literally a two-seater SLR, the sports car. She just like squeezed in and I didn't want to humiliate her in front of all the paparazzi and be like 'get out of my car,' so I was like whatever."
Cohen asked if they dropped her off "at the end of the driveway" after getting away from the paparazzi, but Hilton couldn't quite recall what the hell happened to her after she got in the car.
"We went back to my house and then Britney and I just went to sleep. And then, I don't know, Lindsay probably went to another party. I don't know," she said. "There was no Uber back then so she probably called a cab. I have no idea."
Yes, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears were slumber party buddies. Imagine that!
While she still had great things to say about Brit Brit -- calling her "so sweet" and "hotter than ever" -- the same can't be said about Lohan. Hilton said the two no longer see each other.
When asked if they were ever pals, she added, "Just back in the day we were friends, just like one of those people I don't really trust. I only like to be around positive energy and good people."
Cohen asked if she was "too much drama," with Paris responding affirmatively, "Mhmm, good vibes only."
It's truly a wild time to look back on. Hilton was out almost every night, Britney was fresh off her divorce from Kevin Federline and Lohan was just a few months shy of her first court-mandated trip to rehab.
At the time, Paris and Lindsay had been taking swipes at each other in the media and in front of the paparazzi all year, which also saw the now-infamous "Firecrotch" rant.
On Nov. 26, Lindsay accused Hilton of hitting her with a drink inside a club while speaking with the paparazzi. Cut to the following night, when Lohan was escorted by Hilton's publicist to her car, as Hilton urged Linds to tell photographers "the truth" about what she said the night before.
As she got into a car with both Britney and Paris, Linds said the "Simple Life" star had never hit her, adding she was a "good girl" and they were all friends.
While we may never know what actually went down that night, one thing's for sure: that photo is iconic.
