You won't believe how many views the pop star gave late-night shows on YouTube.
You may or may not be a fan of Ariana Grande, but here is one thing you can't deny: the singer dominated late-night television in 2018.
Grande appeared on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" multiple times, with each appearance sprouting entertaining sketches and interviews, in addition to her crushing performances of her hit singles. As of Dec. 28, all of Grande's late-night clips on this list brought in a grand total of 153,829,287 views on YouTube, leading us to believe she is the most valuable late-night guest of the year.

View StoryThe two highest-viewed moments were Grande's incredible "Carpool Karaoke" on Corden and a game of Musical Genre Challenge on Fallon. The latter of which Mashable, Billboard and Variety all mentioned as one of their overall late-night highlights of 2018.

"Musical Genre Challenge"
We already knew that Grande has some incredible impression skills (see her Celine Dion impression during "Carpool Karaoke" lower on this list), but she took her talents to the next level when she participated in a segment during her "Tonight Show" takeover. Grande transformed Drake's "God's Plan" into a flawless '90s diva hit (giving us major Christina Aguilera vibes), and Kendrick Lamar's "Humble" into Evanescence-esque goth-rock jam. Neither cover style seems like an easy task, but she made it look effortless.

Fan Surprise
In a pre-taped "Tonight Show" segment, the singer surprised fans who thought that were simply being filmed for a fan video. One by one, as the fans were recording covers of the singer's hit "One Last Time," Grande and Fallon walked in.
As expected, fans lost their minds and many broke down into tears. We're not gonna lie though, there were a few talented fans in the bunch that we could see dueting with Grande in the future.

No Big Deal
For the sketch portion of her "Tonight Show" takeover, Grande teamed up with Fallon to parody Bravo with a show called "NBD," where host Casey (Fallon) and his guest Cassandra (Grande) talked about things that are "no big deal." Grande and Fallon both rocked valley girl accents, with the singer sporting a sparkly and rainbow colored getup.
We don't know what, if any, particular Bravo show they were trying to parody, but we laughed anyway.

This party trick went viral when Fallon begged her to do her quick impression of Jennifer Coolidge's "Legally Blonde" character, Paulette.
"God, you look like the Fourth of July," Grande said in her spot-on Coolidge voice before also spitting out, "I'm taking the dog, dumbass."

Why 'Sweetener'?
Also during her "Tonight Show" takeover, Grande revealed why she decided to call her latest album "Sweetener."
"It's kind of about bringing light to a situation," the singer explained. "Or to someone's life or somebody else brings life to your life. Sweetening the situation."
"Sweetener," which became a best-selling album, includes the hits "Breathin," "No Tears Left to Cry," and "God Is A Woman," which is her Nonna's favorite. Yes, Grande is Italian if you didn't know.

'No Tears Left to Cry' with Nintendo Labo Instruments
Grande returned to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" a few weeks later to once again perform her newest single, "No Tears Left to Cry," except this time the singer sang an acoustic version while Fallon and the Roots played Nintendo Labo instruments. And it was epic.
The Nintendo Labo instruments -- made of cardboard and a Nintendo Switch gaming system -- proved to be a perfect compliment to Grande's flawless vocals. Instruments included a Robot Kit (used by Questlove), a Toy-Con piano organ (played by Kamal Gray) and a Piano Studio (rocked by Fallon).

View StoryA Soundtrack to 'Titanic'
After a few months and a new man, Grande was back on late-night to promote "Sweetener." The "Breathin" singer stopped by "The Late Late Show" to participate in a musical segment, titled "A Soundtrack to 'Titanic,'" where her and Corden celebrated the love story of "Titanic's" Jack and Rose by putting on a live performance of 13 different songs in front of nine different sets -- all done in one, five-and-a-half-minute take.
Singing a wide range of songs -- from "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran to "Timber" by Kesha -- the pop star and comedian absolutely killed it. However, the best part of the segment was when Grande belted out Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." We dare you to watch it and not get chills.

'Carpool Karaoke'
Surprisingly, this late-night clip isn't the most-viewed video of this bunch, but it's a very close second. In typical "Carpool Karaoke" fashion, Grande sang her famous hits, including "Side to Side," "Dangerous Woman" and "God Is A Woman." But of course Grande had to make her appearance stand out and take the classic "Late Late Show" sketch to the next level.
The 25-year-old singer and Corden hit up a Starbucks where she ordered, yep you guessed it, a iced grande soy latte. Corden carried Grande into the coffee shop to joke about the ridiculous rumor that she has to be carried everywhere. Grande proved she's impressive comedic chops in addition to that A-list voice.

Pete Davidson Prediction
We all know the story about how Grande and Pete Davidson got together (then got engaged and then broke up), but while appearing on "The Tonight Show" in August, Grande told the whole anecdote for the first time. If you need a refresher, Grande predicted she would marry Davidson years ago before they started dating or become friends.
Well, for now, it looks like that prediction didn't pan out.

View StoryAretha Franklin Tribute
If you haven't noticed by now, we haven't put Grande's late-night performances on this list. First off, there were only three. She performed "No Tears Left to Cry" on Fallon and most recently her new single "Imagine." However, probably the most beautiful and notable late-night performance was when she sang Aretha Franklin's "Natural Woman" as a tribute to the Queen of Soul after the iconic singer's death.
Also during this late-night appearance, Grande recalled a special phone conversation she had with Franklin years ago.
"She called me and she goes, 'Hi, it's Aretha.' And I was like, 'Franklin?'" Grande laughed.
Apparently, Franklin had called her because one of her young relatives was a singer as well and she wanted Grande to give his music a listen. "I was like, 'Oh my god, I'd be honored to listen. Thank you for thinking of me. Text me the MP3 or something,'" Grande told Fallon. "And she was like, 'Well, I don't know how to do that so I'm gonna send it to you.' And then like four months later I got a package with a CD."

The Truth Behind Madonna's 'God Is a Woman' Cameo
During the same appearance on Fallon, Grande was asked about how Madonna became to be the voice of God in Grande's incredible "God Is a Woman" video. The answer was simple.
"I texted her," Grande said and Fallon asked, "You just texted Madonna?!"
"Without Madonna I wouldn't be able to make a song like that," Grande added. "She paved the way for all of us and has been here fighting that fight longer than any of us ... of course immediately thought of her to be involved some how because without her I wouldn't have been able to make that song."

The Wild Ponytail
Fallon and Grande teamed up to make a hilarious skit about Grande's luscious locks. The video, titled "Ariana Grande's Ponytail Has a Mind of Its Own," showed the singer's iconic ponytail as a live being that could pick up Grande's cell phone for her, sign autographs and even fight crime. Brilliant.

Although Grande appeared on "Carpool Karaoke" months before, "Late Late Show" host Corden hung on to some hilarious footage that Grande filmed earlier just to unveil it for the Halloween season. It was a perfect decision, because Corden and Grande got the scare of their lives when they participated in an escape room. It was so scary that Grande ended up hurting herself when a guy crawled into the final room after them.
During the struggle, Grande fell and actually hurt her hand. But even after all that, she seemed to be in good spirits. After they were done, she declared, "I've done like 300 escape rooms. That's not an escape room. That's like one of the seven gates to hell."

I Wish It Was Christmas Today with Ariana Grande (Cold Open)
This holiday season the classic "Saturday Night Live" Song, "I Wish It Were Christmas Today," received a modern update when Grande joined the original sketch quartet Fallon, Horatio Sanz, Chris Kattan and Tracy Morgan.
During the performance, the group awkwardly danced onstage and sang the 2000 "SNL" Christmas tune. Morgan jogged in place and Kattan held the keyboard, where Fallon controlled the percussion, while Sanz brought it home on vocals and guitar. Grande jumped in between Kattan and Morgan like she fit right in there all along.
