After ringing in the new year on NBC's live coverage, the model went to give cohost Leslie Jones a hug and kiss, but it didn't go as planned.

With rain and cold temperatures making for one brutal night in Times Square, the "SNL" star was wielding an umbrella when Teigen came in for her New Year's smooch. Instead of giving her some sugar, Jones smacked Teigen right in the face.
The video quickly ended up on Twitter, where many watched it on loop:

Responding to the post above, Teigen tweeted, "I'm okay!" before adding this morning, "7am. Heading back out to time's square to find my eyeball."
Jones also reached out to Teigen on Twitter to apologize once again.
