The "Modern Family" star dove into her comments to get into it with one of her followers.
Ariel Winter kicked off 2019 by calling out a few of her social media haters.
The "Modern Family" actress started clapping back at some of her Instagram followers on Tuesday night, after a couple of them left some nasty comments about a photo she shared of her New Year's Eve celebrations with boyfriend Levi Meaden.
In one of the two photos, the pair are seen kissing at the stroke of midnight, as they both hold onto the same champagne glass.
"Drinking underage! Very bad! lol," one of the 20-year-old actress' followers accused.
"Honestly anything acidic kills my stomach," she responded, a message first highlighted by Comments by Celebs. "So I really just held his because I didn't want to be the only one toasting with water...lol."

That wasn't the comment that really set her off, however. In the same thread, another follower wrote, "Not half as bad as all the coke/meth she uses. She literally dropped 30 ponds [sic]."
"Yep...I dropped 30 bodies of water so fast," Winter joked, before going in even further. "And yes!! My psychiatrist switched me from my previous anti depressant that didn't work and made me gain weight, to coke/meth!! Definitely not a new one that worked and then regulated my metabolism. Coke/meth was a controversial decision but she stands by it."
The user responded to Winter, claiming they were "not hating" and calling her "actually gorgeous." They added, "But pills and nose candy go hand in hand with Hollywood. Enjoy yourself, but don't get ruined by it."
"Thanks for the compliment...?" Ariel shot back. "I'm sure you know EXACTLY what goes on or is hand in hand with EVERYONE in Hollywood seeing as everyone knows everything about people they DON'T know."
She also slammed the troll for being "shitty and completely arrogant" for doubling down on their drug accusations after she had explained what was really going on in her personal life.
"I don't need to explain myself to anyone. No one does," she added. "However, I want to cut this shit out of my thread right now. I think it definitely counts as hating on someone when you completely ignore the truth coming from the actual person, to just follow you own fantasy narrative."
In a separate thread, Winter later wrote, "Happy New Year everyone. Appreciative of all the support and love I receive from you in the comments. Wishing you health, happiness and success in 2019."
