These two are true #FriendshipGoals.
The Netflix film, which was released on Dec. 13, was so popular it broke a record with over 45 million accounts viewing it, according to the streaming service last week. The horror movie starring Sandra Bullock has also spawned hilarious memes revolving around its plot and use of blindfolds, which have dominated social media for weeks.
Kim may be one of the queens of social media, but it seems this time she was late to the party. Luckily, her good friend Teigen was there to make fun of her being a little behind on her pop culture.
"Watching BirdBox. I really like it. Who has seen it?" Kim tweeted on Tuesday.
"kimberly like everyone in the entire world" Teigen wrote in response.

Last Wednesday, Teigen was one of the many who took to Twitter to give their reactions about the horror film.
"I was taking a bit of a holiday break for family time but I just watched bird box and my whole heart is sore I need company is anyone there," the model wrote. "I lovvvvvve scary stuff and holy shit I am shaken up I love you guys."
"my hands are shaking as I type," she continued. "thinking of my little toons or miles in the woods alone makes me so sad kdisjsuxusojssuzuhshsixyheh".
Teigen, a.k.a John Legend's wife, said that "Bird Box" gave her the "worst dreams" of her life.
"john died, became a bird, called me on a tiny cell phone as a bird," she tweeted. "I took a carry on to the Maldives with bird-john in it, was served strawberry cat on the flight. Woke up crying covered in sweat. bird box got me f--ked up."
The mother-of-two truly loves being scared -- how can we forget her screaming through a haunted house with "The Ellen DeGeneres" show's EP Andy Lassner -- and it seems she's ready to watch the scary movie again, but this time take Lassner with her.
"my dream is to watch Bird Box again with @andylassner and a GoPro," Teigen wrote.
