Gwyneth Paltrow gave a perfect comeback to a throwback article that said her ex-fiance Brad Pitt used to always look like his former flames.
On Friday, author Leandra Medine posted a photo of a 2006 Daily Express article that had the headline "Brad: the man who looks like his girlfriend." The newspaper cover featured Pitt alongside his exes Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and Paltrow, donning extremely similar hairstyles.
The implication: he adapted his look every time he switched partners.
As pointed out by Comments by Celebs, the Goop founder had her own explanation for what was going on.
"Or we like to look like him, let's face it," she said.
Paltrow, 46 and Pitt dated from 1994 to 1997 and were engaged at one point. The actress recently married producer Brad Falchuk and shares two children -- Apple, 14, and Moses, 12 -- with ex-husband Chris Martin.
Pitt, on the other hand, is in the midst of a divorce from Jolie. The two "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" stars share Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.
