Flying cars, superhuman bad guys and ... Chernobyl?! We're in.
The "Fast & Furious" franchise just dropped the trailer for its first spinoff, "Hobbs & Shaw."
Starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jason Statham returning as their sometimes-adversaries-sometimes-friends of the Toretto crew, joining together to take on a common enemy.
The villain this time around: Idris Elba, who kicks off the sneak peek proclaiming, "I'm the necessary shock to the system. I am human evolutionary change, bullet proof, super human. Bad guy."
Yes, this guy's clearly gone through some genetic testing to alter his body, making him one of the toughest bullies they've faced to date.
Hobbs -- who calls himself "an ice cold can of whoop ass" -- and Shaw -- who says he's "what you might call a champagne problem" -- are recruited to take him down together, with the help of a rogue MI6 agent, played by Vanessa Kirby.
"I'm trying to save the world, which for the record, would be my fourth time," Hobbs proclaims, poking fun at the franchise's wild history. "Because I'm really good at it."

View StoryThe movie hits theaters August 2, 2019 -- check out the official synopsis from Universal below.
Ever since hulking lawman Hobbs (Johnson), a loyal agent of America's Diplomatic Security Service, and lawless outcast Shaw (Statham), a former British military elite operative, first faced off in 2015's Furious 7, the duo have swapped smack talk and body blows as they've tried to take each other down.
But when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat that could alter humanity forever - and bests a brilliant and fearless rogue MI6 agent (The Crown's Vanessa Kirby), who just happens to be Shaw's sister - these two sworn enemies will have to partner up to bring down the only guy who might be badder than themselves.
Hobbs & Shaw blasts open a new door in the Fast universe as it hurtles action across the globe, from Los Angeles to London and from the toxic wasteland of Chernobyl to the lush beauty of Samoa.
