Hollywood and Beyond Thrilled by J.Lo and A-Rod Engagement, But Ellen Wins with Her Reaction

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are getting hitched and the internet has something to be happy about for a change. And boy did they light up in excitement for the couple, with Ellen DeGeneres perhaps the most ready for the big day.

Celebrites from the worlds of entertainment and sports joined the massive fanbases of both stars to offer their congratulations and excitement for that rock on J.Lo's finger and the joy they truly seem to share with one another.

And just as we're all ready to share in the excitement of their day, Ellen is really ready, as evidenced by her quick response to A-Rod's announcement that Lopez had said yes to his proposal.

Back in February, DeGeneres treated Lopez to a hilarious Valentine's Day gift of a giant clock with J.Lo and A-Rod's faces on it. "It's basically to remind him that time is ticking and he should hurry up and propose," Ellen hinted. And it looks like it worked.

Rodriguez popped the question while he and Lopez were in the middle of a tropical getaway, one day after J.Lo showed off her "beach bum" in another Instagram photo with A-Rod in the foreground.

This will be the fourth marriage for Lopez, who was previously married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony. She and Anthony share 11-year-old twins Max and Emme. For Rodriguez, this will be his second time down the aisle. He shares daughters Ella and Natasha with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.

The engagement comes about a month after the couple's second anniversary, which they both celebrated with gushy posts on social media as well.

And this is one romance social media just can't get enough of. As word began to spread around Saturday night and into Sunday morning, the love just kept flowing. They also slipped in some jokes about the size of that rock, but can you blame them? We're pretty sure we can see it from here!
