Jackee Harry Goes Viral As She Claims Eartha Kitt Once Slapped Her

Don't mess with Eartha Kitt's man!

Jackée Harry revealed she found that one out the hard way on Wednesday, while answering a viral Twitter question about "surreal" encounters with celebrities.

Reporter Michael Segalov had everyone sharing some pretty amazing stories after he tweeted out: "What's the most surreal encounter you've had with someone famous? been thinking about this all day... mine was looking up while riding a bucking bronco in Liverpool last year and seeing Hugh Grant looking at me, who then stuck his tongue out and then just shrugged."

The tweet quickly picked up traction online as others began to respond to what is now one epic thread, or retweet the Q with their own experiences. While the entire thread is great, Jackée answer was the one to beat.

"Eartha Kitt slapped the f%#! outta me," she alleged. "She thought I was sleeping with her boyfriend.. which I was, but I didn't know he was taken."

The response then took on a life of its own, as fans began retweeting it with their own commentary and even more questions.

"I'm just shook at the fact there's a man with enough juice to successfully holla at Jackée Harry and Eartha Kitt," one fan wrote. To that one, Harry replied, "He didn't just eat the groceries, he restocked the shelves."

When another follower asked who the guy was, she only offered up one clue. "He was a dual piano 'playa,'" Harry responded. "We didn't know he was going to tickle both of our keys."

Kitt passed away in 2008, following a battle with colon cancer. She's survived by her daughter, Kitt McDonald.
