"Days like this, I love having photos," the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star shares, while Gia remains hopeful that Joe "will be home with us soon."

Joe Giudice's deportation appeal was denied Thursday, leaving wife Teresa Giudice and daughter Gia Giudice reminiscing on happier times.

"Joe with the girls decorating eggs," Teresa captioned a sweet throwback of three of their four daughters coloring Easter eggs with their dad. "Days like this, I love having photos." (Gia was absent from the photo.)

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star was instantly flooded with comments of support, including, "God is good, Trea. You're an excellent parent, and so is Joe. That will never change." Another fan urged Teresa to "stay strong," while a third assured the reality star that they were "praying for you all, Teresa, that he gets to come home to you and all your girls."

Gia, 18, also took to Instagram to focus on positive memories with her dad. Sharing a photo of her as a little girl embracing Joe, Gia captioned the photo, "Pictures, memories and hope is the only thing that has gotten my family this far. We are fighters, but my father is someone who is one of the most important people in my life. Not a day goes by where we don't love you, miss you and fight for you with all our hearts. You will be home with us soon, Daddy. I love you so much. #BringJoeHome."

The Board of Immigration Appeals announced Thursday that Joe's deportation appeal had been denied, meaning he's now one step closer to being sent back to Italy indefinitely. Joe will remain in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials at an unknown location, where he's been since his prison release last month.

"We are extremely disappointed that the Board of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice's appeal," Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. told PEOPLE in a statement. "We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters."

Joe was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, where he served 41 months for mail, wire and bank fraud.

Teresa told Andy Cohen during the "RHONJ" Season 9 reunion that deportation would mean divorce for her and Joe because she didn't want to uproot their four daughters: Gia, 18, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 9.
