Kelly Clarkson really can do it all and sound great no matter what is going. The "American Idol" alum slayed hosting the Billboard Music Awards Wednesday night, and then immediately flew home for surgery.
Apparently, the singer had been suffering from rather painful appendicitis for the week leading up to the three-hour ceremony, but she was determined to see it through.

The singer immediately flew from Las Vegas back to her home in Los Angeles to prepare for surgery to have her appendix removed, which she had done Thursday morning. And Entertainment Tonight reports she fully intends to be on the stage and ready for the live taping of "The Voice" on Monday.
