At the time, the Woosley Fire was burning through Calabasas, but Kris didn't let the natural disaster ruin her experience and tells the camera, the "show must go on."
"It's the day of the shoot and I feel really excited to go make my Ariana Grande video debut," Kris adds in a confessional.
A very excited Grande, wearing her Regina George "Mean Girls" outfit, appears and greets the reality star. The ladies embrace and gush over one another. After Kris compliments Grande's pink lipstick, the "7 Rings" hitmaker admits she's wearing one of Kylie Jenner's lip kits.
"She walked in with a Kylie box this big," Grande says to someone on her team. "I literally started crying my eyes out and I put everything on." Kris adds, "She was so cute." She was like, 'I'm screaming!'"
Grande shares her excitement over Kris' cameo in the pop music video. If you remember, Kris played Amy Poehler's character from "Mean Girls," Mrs. George. Kris tapped into her acting skills for the scene and danced along when The Plastics performed "Jingle Bell Rock."
"We're so excited to have you," Grande tells Kris in the clip. "I'm so excited, it's gonna be so funny. I want to show you at some point the other set-ups. It was so cool. We did some 'Legally Blonde' and '13 Going on 30' and... What else? Oh yeah, we're gonna do 'Bring It On' tonight."
"I've got this. Don't you worry," Kris says as she shows off some dance moves. The E! star then voices her nerves to the camera. "This is the first time I have ever been in a music video with an iconic artist and someone I'd admire very much...I don't want to let Ariana down."
Grande, for one, seems stoked to be on the E! reality show, "Guys, I'm so excited to make my 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' debut!" she says.

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on E!"
