"I'm not here to be Stassi's friend. I'm here to make a difference," Billie tells TooFab.
Stassi Schroeder recently made a comment about how she wished co-star Billie Lee "would just leave" "Vanderpump Rules," even going so far as to quote "Mean Girls" and say, "She doesn't even go here!"
At Lisa Vanderpump's World Dog Day event in West Hollywood this past weekend, Billie told TooFab the seemingly unprovoked jab was "alarming" because the two don't often interact, leading her to believe Stassi may have had an ulterior motive.
Stassi Schreoder Wishes Billie Lee Would 'Just LEAVE' 'Vanderpump Rules'
View Story"At the end of the day, I'm not here to be Stassi's friend. I'm here to make a difference. I'm here to work and pay my bills," Billie told us. "I don't really know her like that, so it was weird to [hear] that. And I mean, it was the same day that she was releasing a book, so it became headlines."
Stassi released her cheeky, autobiographical self-help book -- "Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook" -- on April 16. That same day, she stopped by SiriusXM's "The Jenny McCarthy Show," where she opened up about the progression of the show and its newest cast members, including Billie.
While Stassi did admit that it "must suck" for newcomers to try and mesh with a group of real friends who've been on the show for seven seasons, she said she didn't "feel that bad" for them and wished "they would just leave."
"They come in, and they think they're about to be a star, and it's like, 'You have no idea what's coming for you,'" she said.
When Jenny asked her guest which castmember was "most guilty" of trying to force their way into stardom, Stassi replied, "Billie Lee."
"It's just the things she tries to fight about are ridiculous," Stassi said. "'You don't even go here!' That's what it feels like."
Billie Lee Calls Out 'Vanderpump Rules' for Lack of Minority Representation
View StoryOf the remarks, Billie told us, "It was sad for me because, honestly, I've never hung out with her. I'm not friends with her like that. I've witnessed her being really mean to people. I mean, we all have our moments, so for her to call me out, it was alarming. And at the end of the day, I feel like it was just something for attention."
Billie told us she's "experienced" the wrath of the show's queen bee "from the second" she started working at SUR, adding that she was "warned by a lot of people about her."
"I think that girl needs to open her mind and her heart a lot more," Billie said, noting that she hopes her boyfriend, Beau Clark, will help shape her into a better person.
"He's amazing," Billie said of Beau. "We connect on crazy levels, and he's just a really open-minded, sweet guy. And I think he's gonna make a difference in her life. I'm really, really excited for that."
