Here's What Fans and Critics Are Saying About Khloe Kardashian After She Denies Knowingly Cheating with Tristan Thompson

Khloe Kardashian hasn't exactly silenced her critics after sharing her "truth" about her relationship with ex Tristan Thompson.

On Tuesday night, the reality star posted a series of Instagram Stories addressing Jordan Craig's claims Thompson was cheating on her with Kardashian. To the best of Khloe's knowledge, however, Craig and Thompson had split before he started dating her.

And, according to Khloe, she really did her research.

"My truth is: I met Tristan because HE CHOSE to go on a blind date with me. A mutual friend set us up," she claimed. "After going on some dates, Tristan told me that he had an ex that was pregnant. Obviously, I was reluctant about us continuing to date or start a relationship."

"He pleaded with me that the relationship was over long before we met. He had me talk with his most inner circle," she continued. "He showed me physical poof [sic] (correspondence between the two) and had me on calls with his lawyers to prove his point. His best friends, business associates and even his mother told me, him and his ex were broken up before we met."

While calling this her "truth," Khloe admitted it's possible "this is NOT in fact the truth" and, if that's the case, she's "so completely and utterly sorry that TRISTAN and his inner circle would lie on something like this!"

"I really don't know what to believe," she added. "I'm sorry for any pain that has been created either way. No woman deserves to go through anything like this!"

Craig claimed in court documents obtained by Radar Online she found out Tristan was cheating just a month after discovering she was pregnant with the couple's now 2-year-old-son Prince. Craig claimed the stress from all the attention on the very public relationship led to "serious pregnancy complications."

Though Khloe put her statement in her Stories, her followers went to her most recent Instagram post to comment on what she had written. While the post had nothing to do with her thread -- and was instead a cute photo of her with True Thompson -- fan reaction was split.

"Now imagine being pregnant and your baby daddy sleeping with other women together or not," wrote one critic. "If I meet a guy and he has another woman pregnant that's a no for me! Period!"

"If you have to go through all of that to figure out if he's single he's not single sis," wrote another. "You wanted to believe your truth so bad that you ignore the actual truth, just move on already you're apologizing to the wrong person bc you didn't affect our family. Of course you're not fully to blame but just take accountability for your part period."

Another asked: "Who checks with a lawyer to see if he's actually single?"

"You can write your truth, it will not make your decisions stink less," read another popular comment. "You know the truth also is that you had no place dating a man that is expecting a child, own your decisions white girl."

Others called it a "Red flag" that he had just gotten another woman pregnant, criticizing Khloe for checking with everyone except Jordan herself.

It wasn't all negative, however.

"You're amazing and a true inspiration for all women," wrote one of her fans. "Thank you for always being so candid, raw, and real ...you've helped me through plenty of hard times of my own and for that I say thank you again, I truly respect everything you represent!"

"You should never have to explain yourself to anyone," commented another. "I am commenting on your story you just posted. Men have a way to manipulate you into believing anything. And I am sorry you had to deal with that. It wasn't all lies but look at the beautiful miracle you created out of it."

Another called her a "gorgeous woman inside and out" and a "survivor."
