Based on the "Hot Ones" web series, the pair must answer question while eating increasingly hot chicken wings until both decide host Sean Evans is "sick" and "awful."
Selena Gomez has been game to do all sorts of silly things over the years with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show," but that might change after she agreed to take on the "Hot Ones" hot wing challenge.
Based on the popular web series of the same name, Fallon even invited the show's host Sean Evans to join them so that they were doing this thing right. The game is simple enough: answer questions while enjoying increasingly hot buffalo chicken wings.
"Enjoy" may not be the right word, though it was admittedly pretty entertaining to watch as things got hotter and hotter.
At first, it was looking like "The Dead Don't Die" star might take this one, but by the end we'd have to determine that there were no winners on that stage.
Worried from the get-go that it might prove a bit much, Jimmy had a bit of pomp and ceremony when he presented his cup of milk -- should the going to get _too _hot -- and it was none other than the official Stanley Cup, which will go to either the Boston Bruins or St. Louis Blues Wednesday night.
But before it makes its way to its new home city, Jimmy definitely needed all the help it could provide as he found himself struggling by the second wing.
Evans admitted that they were doing a ramped-up version of the usual show with only four wings each, but Selena was killing it even as they got deep into that second one. Jimmy, meanwhile, had already begun hopping around, eyes bugged out.
That one was described by Evans as "a hot sauce more than 400 times hotter than a jalapeno." And that was just the second one.
From there, things only got worse as they tackled "Da Bomb," and Selena's immediate reaction was, "What the hell?" In fact, the reaction was so strong from both Selena and Jimmy, they found themselves struggling to explain an Instagram pic of the two of them from four years ago.
But even that was nothing as they tackled the hottest of the wings, and Evans had an even more devilish challenge for them. He wanted Jimmy to do three impressions that Selena had to identify.
"Why do you do this to people?" Selena asked.
"You're a sick, evil man," Jimmy echoed. And yet, he did his best to power through the impressions, though both he and Selena were far more interested in the milk by this point.
Check out the heat and the discomfort and see if you think you'd be able to identify Jimmy's impressions with your mouth on fire.
