"I am proud to be the 'OG of the OC,'" the newly engaged businesswoman says.
The "OG of the OC" is breaking her silence following the bombshell news she's been demoted to a friend role on "The Real Housewives of Orange County."
On Tuesday afternoon, Bravo confirmed what fans have been suspecting for months: that their beloved Vicki Gunvalson had lost her orange.

'RHOC' Season 14 Trailer: Vicki Gunvalson Downgraded to Friend, Called ''Con Woman' and 'Crook'
View StoryBut the newly engaged businesswoman isn't letting the demotion bring her down! In fact, she shared a super positive message about the show on Instagram, urging her fans to tune in to the Season 14 premiere later this summer.
"For the past 14 years, I've opened up my life, my loves, my ups and downs on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County,' and I am proud to be the 'OG of the OC,'" Vicki captioned some photos from the cast's promo shoot.
"I am back again this season, right in the middle of the action, in a different role," she continued. "I hope you have as much fun watching the show as I did living it in front of the cameras. Stay tuned to Bravo August 6th for more of the Tres Amigas."
Andy Cohen commented on the post, writing, "Vicki you ARE the OC. Here's to another 14 years... #OGofOC." Tamra Judge added, "We wont let you leave...ever." In a shadier response to the situation, Kelly Dodd replied to a fan on her own page who said the show would "fail" without Vicki by writing, "I bet you this year's ratings will surpass her last 3 years!! Guaranteed!!!"
But just because she's taking a back seat to the other women doesn't mean Vicki isn't still very much a part of the drama. In the newly released trailer, Kelly calls her a "con woman" and a "crook," while Bravo's press release for the season notes Vicki "finds herself in the hot seat once again after hopping on the rumor mill train."
Sounds like Vicki is taking the news a whole lot better than her fans are! Take a look at some of the most intense reactions below.
Season 14 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" premieres Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
