The 21-year-old rapper's I Love You Restaurant provides "healthy, vegan food for free."
Jaden Smith is using his power and influence for good.
Over the weekend, the 21-year-old rapper launched a food truck in Downtown Los Angeles to supply homeless people with "healthy, vegan food for free."
Called the I Love You Restaurant, Jaden described his pop-up initiative as the "first of many."
"I Love You Restaurant is a movement that is all about giving people what they deserve, healthy, vegan food for free," the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith captioned three Instagram posts from his Sunday debut. "Today we launched our first one-day food truck pop-up in Downtown L.A."
"Keep a look out because this is the first of many," he added, using the hashtag, #JADENinc.
In addition to sharing photos of the truck itself, Jaden also posted a video showing volunteers handing out paper bags of food to a queue of hundreds on Skid Row, an area that's home to one of the largest populations of homeless people in America.
Jaden's Instagram posts were instantly flooded with praise from Hollywood and beyond.
"This is so dope. I love what you are doing, man," Kevin Hart commented.
But his I Love You Restaurant isn't the only way Jaden's been giving back to the community. Just last week, he took part in Shia LaBeouf's charity fundraiser for his theater school, Slauson Rec., a free-of-charge performing arts program for anyone who wants to attend, regardless of their background or training.
To echo many of the comments left on Jaden's posts, Will and Jada must be beaming with pride.
