Anthony Scaramucci Reveals His Wife Deidre Ball Was 'Never Offered' a Spot on 'RHONY' (Exclusive)

Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci says his wife, Deidre Ball, was "never offered" a spot on "The Real Housewives of New York," but he thinks she would be great on it.

While out in New York earlier last week alongside "Shark Tank" star Kevin O'Leary, the former White House communications director addressed the reports Ball is joining the Bravo series.

"She was never offered [it]," The Mooch said. "I don't even know where that came from. I have said that she would do it if she was offered, but she was never offered it."

O'Leary added, "Now it's going to become a reality, just like that."

When asked if he'd want her to join "RHONY," Scaramucci pushed the question onto O'Leary, who said, "I think it's a part of American culture. It's a very successful reality TV show. Reality is part of what we watch, why not?" He added, "It's brand building."

The Mooch said he's "convinced," but he worries it could become political.

"She's beautiful, she's got a lot of stuff going," he said. "There could be some Trump hate related to the fact why she wasn't doing it. That could be part of it? This whole Hollywood enabling nonsense to people like Trump. P.S. my wife doesn't even like the President. She's a big-time liberal. So that's funny."

While the "Celebrity Big Brother" alum used to be a member of President Donald Trump's administration, Ball leans to the left. When asked if he and his wife get in arguments over their differing political views, The Mooch replied, "Ah well, we have a podcast called 'The Mooch and the Mrs.' She literally takes a cheese grater to my forehead for thirty-five minutes every Tuesday. So, yes of course we do!"

The Mooch also weighed in on the trending celebrity feud between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, who acquired the rights to her old music after he purchased the singer's music catalog from her previous label, Big Machine Records for over $300 million.

The public beef has Hollywood taking sides and it looks like The Mooch and O'Leary are Team Scooter.

"I mean at the end of the day you gotta look through the contracts," Scaramucci said. "He had the right to buy stuff, and so you know she's had a fabulous career. I know she wasn't managed by Scooter, but Scooter did help her get to where she is."

"He launched her," he added. "So, Scooter came to my conference by the way, and he seems like a great guy...so I'm with him because it's a commercial issue, and I know she's sore about it but she should get over it. She's got an amazing career, and she's a phenomenal singer and she's going to make a ton more of songs for her library."

O'Leary added, "It's like a relationship. They fell out of love, but they should make up because she's got to remember where she's come from. He made it happen for her."

The Mooch ended the conversation on a high note. "I stand with Scooter on that, but I like Taylor Swift a lot. She's ahome run great part of American culture."
