"I keep a whole lot to myself but just wanted to share and let you know I'm human," the 21-year-old says.
Kylie Jenner is getting candid about losing friends, her struggles with anxiety and growing up in the public eye.
Still on an epic Turks and Caicos girls trip to celebrate the launch of Kylie Skin, the 21-year-old billionaire decided to open up to her 140 million Instagram followers Monday night with a very real caption to accompany another stunning shot of her on the beach.
"I'm proud of myself, my heart, and my strength," Kylie wrote alongside a photo of her facing the sunset. "Growing up in the light with a million eyes on you just isn't normal. I've lost friends along the way and I've lost myself too sometimes."
"My first tattoo was 'sanity' to remind myself everyday to keep it," she continued. "I've struggled with anxiety my whole young adult life and after my baby I dealt with all the internal ups and downs. I felt like I had to find myself completely again."
"I keep a whole lot to myself but just wanted to share and let you know I'm human," she added, noting that her "life is not perfect and what you see here on social media is just the surface."
"Be gentle with yourself, move on, and let go," Kylie urged her fans. "We are all capable of great things, worthy of love, and allowed to express ourselves. Do more of what makes you happy and be unapologetic. Now is your season. We all have a magnificent destiny."

Kylie famously hid her pregnancy with Stormi Webster from the world because she said she wanted to experience that metamorphosis privately. Only after Stormi was born did Kylie reveal she had been with child in a lengthy, homemade YouTube video featuring her former best friend, business associate and roommate, Jordyn Woods.
Kylie also hasn't publicly addressed what happened to her relationship with Jordyn after the scandal with Khloe Kardashian's baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, earlier this year.
In a sneak peek of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Season 17, however, Kylie and Khloe sit down to talk about the aftermath of the saga. When Khloe asks her half-sister if she misses Jordyn, Kylie replies, "I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason. For me, for her, for you, for everybody."
"She was my security blanket," Kylie admits. "She lived with me, we did everything together. I just felt like, 'Oh, I have Jordyn, I don't need anything else.' I feel like there's a part of me that needed to grow without her. Sometimes people are there for certain reasons at certain times in your life, and then not there for others."
