The 6'8" star said that there was no pressure to keep up with the penis count on fellow HBO show "Euphoria" -- even though "Insecure" is heavier on male nudity.
Sarunas Jackson gets naked plenty on "Insecure" — but you'll only ever see him from the rear.
The actor, who plays Alejandro 'Dro' Peña on the hit HBO show, has admitted he won't show his penis... because his mom and daughter are watching.
"This how I look at doing nude work," he said. "It has to absolutely make sense to the story right? Like my character was in an open marriage, he got involved with somebody. Obviously, when you're involved with somebody you're going to have sex, you know what I mean? But it made sense, it's not just senseless shock value. Everything makes sense. As long as it makes sense... and the check has to be right."
"I've always said I probably wouldn't show my front," he added. "My momma watch what I do. I have a daughter, I can't! The cheeks is good enough!"
The 6'8" star said that there was no pressure to keep up with the penis count on fellow HBO show "Euphoria" — even though "Insecure" is heavier on male nudity.
"It's not necessarily like sports or anything like that. We wouldn't feel no pressure because I think everything lives on it's own. 'Euphoria' and 'Insecure' are very different.
"What made our show different is that the men are more nude than the women. 'Euphoria' is kind of a balance, you seen the women, and as the season goes on you're most likely going to see more. It's more balance than it is for our show. So I wouldn't say we feel any pressure. At the end of the day we just want to tell a good story, and that's what the artist care about."
He insisted that when it comes to showing off bodies on TV, it's not as sexy as people think.
"It really isn't. It's really not. It's more of a choreography. You know, you hit your points and stuff like that, and that's all."
