The House of Mouse expansion continues.
Disney is taking aim at a new set of shoppers.
Target has announced it is opening dedicated Disney Stores at 25 select locations across the country.
Fans of Mickey and co took to the internet after Sunday's announcement to see if their local store was one of the lucky ones to gain one of the new Disney outlets, which are set to open on October 4.
Texas Targets will take the lion's share with five, at Allen North, Austin North West, Euless, Pasadena, and Spring in Houston North Central.
California (Murrieta and San Jose College Park), Florida (Clearwater and Jacksonville Mandarin), Colorado (Denver Stapleton and Loveland), Illinois (Chicago Brickyard and New Lenox) and Pennsylvania (Stroudsburg and Philadelphia West) will each get two.
Montana (Bozeman), Michigan (Brighton), Oklahoma (Edmond), Oregon (Keizer), Washington (Lake Stevens), Virginia (Leesburg), Minnesota (Maple Grove North), Alabama (Mobile), Utah (South Jordan) and Indiana Waterford Park, Clarksville) meanwhile will get one apiece.
If your home city or state is not on the list, fret not; Disney plans to open a further 40 stores at Targets in October of next year, too.
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida meanwhile is set to get its very own Target in 2021.
"Disney is among our largest and most admired [brand] relationships. We have spent a lot of time thinking about how to grow," Target CEO Brian Cornell said.
While Target has long sold Disney merchandise, the new in store-stores will stock items only previously available at dedicated Disney retail locations.
Each store will stock about 450 items ranging from $2 to $200, with most on sale for under $20, and will boast photo areas, interactive displays, and an area where families can watch Disney clips.
