Moore and Goldstein briefly dated in 2007 but remained close friends after their split. That following year, Goldstein and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker survived a plane crash that killed four other people.
Goldstein, who had struggled with drug addiction, was found dead in his New York City apartment at the age of 36 in August 2009 after suffering an accidental overdose.
Moore has posted tributes to Goldstein's tragic death in the past. Last year, the "This is Us" star shared a photo of Goldstein along with a sweet message. "9 years. I miss you every day, Adam. #djam," she wrote in the caption.
Back in 2015, Moore posted a heartbreaking message to Instagram.
"This guy. One of a kind," she captioned a pic of Goldstein DJ-ing. "Been on my mind a lot lately....I can still hear your laugh and oh man, I miss your hugs more than anything. Nearly 6 years and I'm still at a loss... #adam"
