"It's about anxiety and pressure and just taking care of yourself."
It's not just a rumor anymore -- Lindsay Lohan is actually releasing new music!
Though it's been over a decade since her last single -- "Bossy" in 2008 -- the actress, musician and current "Masked Singer Australia" judge has a song coming soon and we've got your first listen.
On Wednesday's episode of The Kris Fade Show on Virgin Dubai Radio, host Kris Fade dropped 30 seconds of the track, titled "Xanax."
"It's about anxiety and pressure and just taking care of yourself," he teased. "And I think that's really, really cool. I think there's a really cool message behind it."
"I've heard the song, it's unbelievable," he added. "I really do like it. She's probably listening right now and I'm not just saying that because she's Lindsay Lohan and I know her or whatever."
He then played a snippet of the song -- hear it below around the 2:00 mark:
"Would you like sitting next to me? When you kiss me, I can't breathe," she sings. "I try to stay away from you, but you get me high."
"Only person in this town that I like. Guess I can take one more trip for the night—just for the night," she continues. "Only one reason I came here, too many people I can't hear. Damn, I got here at 10 ...."
Back in late May and early June, Lohan shared a pair of Instagram photos showing her in the recording studio. At the time, she said she was "hard at work" on new music, with her rep telling Page Six she would be "dropping new music within months."
To date, she's released two albums: "Speak" in 2004, with the singles "Rumors" and "Over," and 2005's "A Little More Personal (Raw)," which included the song "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)."
"Bossy," a non-album single, was released in 2008 and was used as the theme song for her recent reality show "Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club."
