Nicki Minaj just spilled on her past abusive and unhealthy relationship in a lengthy message to her fans on Twitter.
"When u see a woman in a toxic relationship, rather than laugh & say mean things, try to offer sound advice from your heart & root for her to learn her worth. We've all been there," the "Super Bass" rapper started. "I saw my parents fight & argue non stop & never divorce, so I thought this was normal behavior..."
The rapper, who is engaged to Kenneth Petty, went on to talk about her own abusive relationship before meeting her fiancé. "I rlly used to think love had to hurt," she tweeted.

The 36-year-old rapper went on to say that her current relationship with Petty is all about being "unconditionally loved."
"So the diff you see in me now is that feeling when a woman feels lifted up, safe, appreciated & unconditionally loved."
