The host assures viewers Weber is '"100% ok" and still handsome as ever.
Reports about "The Bachelor" star Peter Weber's mishap in Costa Rica have been greatly exaggerated, this according to series host Chris Harrison.
On Tuesday, it was reported that the next season's star sustained injuries to his face after hitting his head on cocktail classes he was carrying to a golf cart in Costa Rica. According to Radar Online, who first broke the news, he "split his face open" and got 22 stitches.
Harrison confirmed the news on Instagram, sharing an old photo of the two together.
"There's been some wild claims and rumors about Peter today," wrote the host. "Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he's 100% OK and production is already back underway."
Most importantly, he added, "He's still the dashing, handsome pilot we've all dreamed of." According to PEOPLE, he's already out on a date as production on the show continues.
Weber will front the upcoming 24th season of the ABC series, after placing third on Hannah Brown's season of "The Bachelorette" earlier this year.
