"There's no need to suffer in silence -- share how you're feeling, ask how someone is doing and listen for the answer."

Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran have united together to spread mental health awareness.

In honor of World Mental Health Day, the Duke of Sussex and the 4-time Grammy winner teamed up to create a fun video to bring awareness to those who might be suffering from mental illness.

"Both Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran want to ensure that not just today but every day, you look after yourself, your friends and those around you," the Sussex Royal Instagram account captioned the clip.

"There's no need to suffer in silence -- share how you're feeling, ask how someone is doing and listen for the answer," the caption continued. "Be willing to ask for help when you need it and know that we are all in this together."

While addressing a serious topic, the video employed a comedic touch to kick things off with Sheeran pretending he thought they were banding together to address the treatment of redheads.

"Really excited today. I'm going to go and film a thing with Prince Harry," the singer began in the clip, as he got his beard trimmed. "He contacted me about doing a charity video with him, which, you know, is going to be good. I've long admired him from afar."

After they exchanged greetings, Sheeran expressed his excitement over working with Prince Harry on the sensitive topic. "This is something I'm quite passionate about."

"Me as well," the royal replied.

Prince Harry explained to Sheeran how he felt that the subject is just "not talked about enough." He added, "I think people all over the world are really suffering."

The "Perfect" singer agreed and said he's even tried writing a song about it.

"People just don't understand what it's like for people like us," Sheeran said. "Well, you know, with the jokes and the snide comments. I just feel like it's time that we stood up and said, 'We're not going to take this anymore. We are ginger, and we're going to fight.'"

"There might have been a miscommunication, but this is about World Mental Health Day," the royal clarified.

Sheeran, who began to erase his "Gingers Unite" powerpoint from his laptop, said, "Yeah, yeah. Of course. I definitely knew that."

The pair then grew serious as Prince Harry told the camera what the video was really about.

"Guys, this is World Mental Health Day, reach out and make sure that your friends, strangers, look out for anyone who might be suffering in silence," he said. "We're all in this together."
