Gabrielle tweeted, "Looks like love to me. I truly hope that everyone gets the love, support and hugs they deserve. Also Kaav ain't with the dumb s--t. Peace & Blessings good people."

Gabrielle Union is a fiercely protective mother and step-mother, so don't come for her brood.

On Monday, the actress was quick to fire back after a fan posted a screenshot of her husband Dwyane Wade's Instagram and added an ignorant comment. Dwyane had shared an adorable picture of his two kids -- Zion, 11, and Kaavia, 11-months -- with the caption "My Girls" alongside two heart emojis.

The fan wrote, "What y'all think of this," to which Gabrielle tweeted, "Looks like love to me. I truly hope that everyone gets the love, support and hugs they deserve. Also Kaav ain't with the dumb s--t. Peace & Blessings good people."

And social media users followed in support of the woke Wade family.

"People need to mind their business, whatever pronoun a father uses to identify HIS child is HIS business... especially when it's based on love and he is not using a derogatory term, he loves his child and that should be the only topic of discussion," shared one fan.

In April, Dwyane shared snaps of his family at Miami Pride. "We support each other with Pride!" Dwyane wrote on Instagram. Some criticized this as well, but Dwyane defended his parenting style to Variety.

"I don't really talk about it much because it's Zion’s story to tell," Dwyane told the publication. "I think as a family, we should support each other. That's our job. And my job as a father is to facilitate their lives and to support them and be behind them in whatever they want to do."

"I'm doing what every parent has to do," he added. "Once you bring kids into this world, you become unselfish. It's my job to be their role model, to be their voice in my kids' lives, to let them know you can conquer the world. So, go and be your amazing self and we're going to sit back and just love you.”
