Mad About You Reboot: Production Continues As Helen Hunt Recovers

The limited series is currently filming episode seven of its 12-episode lineup.

"Mad About You" star Helen Hunt was hospitalized Wednesday after a car accident, which saw her SUV flipped over, according to reports from TMZ.

But production on her reboot, which sees Hunt reprise the lead role of Jamie alongside Paul Reiser, is slated to go on as planned.

Hunt left the hospital a few hours after being admitted, and is at home and recovering with no serious injuries, according to her publicist. Hunt was in the passenger seat at the time of the accident. According to TMZ, no drugs or alcohol is suspected in having caused the incident, and no drivers were cited for their involvement in the crash.

The current iteration of popular 90s sitcom "Mad About You", centers around the story of a couples' idyllic-- and sometimes tumultuous-- married life in New York. The limited series is currently filming episode seven of its 12-episode lineup, according to Deadline.

The first six episodes will hit screens on November 20, while the other six will debut December 18 on Sony Pictures TV. Reiser and Hunt will be reprising their roles from the original sitcom, which garnered several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

The story picks up where it left off, following filmmaker Paul and PR specialist Jamie's struggles with empty nest syndrome after their 17-year-old daughter, Mabel, leaves for college. And of course, Murray, their adorable family dog, will be making an appearance too.
