Add Wendy Williams' name to the list of people speaking out about T.I. after his disturbing interview about his daughter went viral this week.
The talk show host started her show on Thursday morning addressing the rapper who said he annually accompanies his now-18-year-old daughter Deyjah to the gynecologist's office to ensure she's still a virgin.
"I would feel violated, 18, even if it was my mom and I got along with her, much less my dad," said Williams. Pointing out that the two female hosts T.I. shared this revelation to were laughing along with him, Wendy added she would have reacted with far more shock had she done the interview.
She also called out the rapper for adhering to a double standard, as he seemingly has no problem that his younger teenage son is sexually active.
When her producer, Norman, said the whole thing was "disgusting," she agreed. "There was nobody applauding. There has to be a certain amount of trust you have in your kids," she said. "When you're 18 years old, a lot of people were already having sex by 18. I was 17."
"I think the controlling he has having over her is very sexist, like it's fine for the young boy but not for her," she continued. "T.I., back off your daughter like that. I don't know what Tiny says about this, but there's nobody on social media who's agreeing with him."
She also criticized the doctor for allowing him to be there, though T.I. claimed his daughter signed a release to allow it.
Speaking to Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham on their podcast Ladies Like Us, TI was asked if he has had the "sex talk" with his daughter yet.
"Have I? This is the thing: Deyjah's 18, just graduated high school now and she's attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself," he said. "And yes, not only have we had the conversation, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen."
He said he even goes into the appointment with her to hear the results for himself, insisting his daughter sign a release. "I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact," he proudly declared.
The interview sparked major backlash, as celebrities including Padma Lakshmi, Iggy Azalea and Chrissy Teigen all commented on social media. The women of "The Talk" also unloaded on the rapper -- click below to see all the reactions!
