See what Pattinson brought back from his time filming in Nova Scotia.
Robert Pattinson found a unique way to pass the time while filming his latest movie, "The Lighthouse."
While appearing on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" Tuesday, the British actor, 33, recalled how there wasn't much to do in the small fishing village in Nova Scotia where he filmed the indie thriller. However, Pattinson found some interesting reading material: sex shop Yelp reviews.
"I found it kind of unusual. There were two pretty highly-frequented sex shops," he began. "I'd sort of pass the time by looking at Yelp reviews and so many people used to write these Yelp reviews. And this is a town of maybe 400 people -- well, maybe a little more than 400. But I could meet these people in the local shop if I wanted to."
"But then I tried to look up to find some funny stories for this, and I couldn't find any of the reviews," he added, shaking his head in disappointment. "They've all been taken down. And there's just a few people who have just checked in on Facebook. What's up, Annabelle W.?"
Meyers further prodded about the town's merchandise. "Are they just selling fisherman's stuff?" he asked and Pattinson joked in reply, "In the sex shop?"
The "Twilight" alum admitted that he did purchase something from his travels, but it didn't seem that they were from the adult store.
"There was a little fisherman wear shop. I got some...They're lobster-fisherman outfits," Pattinson recalled. "I was thinking whilst I was in Yarmouth that they looked like, 'Oh, these are like '90s Yohji, kind of stuff' to be very particular about my fashion."
"When I came out to L.A. wearing, like, full-on bright yellow waterproof fisherman outfits," he continued. "And it was just -- they are designed for fishing..."
"They didn't transfer well to the red carpet?" Meyers quipped and Pattinson replied. "Didn't work at all...A hazmat Paddington bear."
