The countdown to Halloween is on, and that means you're probably going to be in the mood to watch at least a few horror movies this month, so TooFab scoured Netflix and Amazon for the best -- and in some cases, worst (but that's not always a bad thing in this genre) -- of what's available. With "Stranger Things" Season 2 arriving on Oct. 27, a few beloved classics and one of the best Chucky movies yet ready for your viewing pleasure with the click of a button, there's no shortage of scary, creepy and bloody options.
"House on Haunted Hill" (Amazon): The 1999 remake was panned by viewers and critics alike, but the 1959 classic starring iconic actor Vincent Price is a must-see for any horror fanatic who is interested in understanding the roots of the genre.
Goosebumps (Netflix): This 2015 adaptation of R.L. Stine’s popular young adult book series is a great choice for the whole family. Jack Black’s eccentric and cynical portrayal of Stine provides enough laughs for the adults, while the rest is for the kids and the action ain’t too bad either. Our only gripe? We wish they used more practical effects, because some of the CGI looks straight out of a video game.
"Curse of Chucky" (Netflix): After a lot of bad Chucky movies, this one actually got mostly good reviews, with critics calling it the scariest installment in the iconic horror franchise yet. A must-see for any killer doll fanatic.
