Gabriella Montez was her breakout role which lead to a singing career with hits such as "Come Back to Me." She later starred in "Spring Breakers" and "Grease! Live." She was also a judge on "So You Think You Can Dance" for two seasons. Hudgens split from longtime beau Austin Butler in 2020 after nearly ten years together.
Tisdale starred as Sharpay Evans in the "HSM" trilogy. She later starred in the short-lived series "Hellcats." In September 2020, Tisdale announced that she and husband Christopher French were expecting their first child together.
Lucas played Ryan Evans, Sharpay's brother, in "High School Musical." He went on to star in "Switched at Birth" for five seasons.
Corbin played Troy's BFF Chad Danforth in "HSM." He went on to appear in many series in the following years from "Flight 29 Down" to "One Life to Live." Bleu was runner-up with his partner Karina Smirnoff on seasson 17 of "Dancing with the Stars." He has starred in numerous Broadway plays such as "In the Heights" and "Kiss Me, Kate."
After playing bookworm Taylor McKessie, Coleman went on to make appearances in "The Cleveland Show" and "Here We Go Again." She finished fourth on season three of "Dancing with the Stars" and went on tour with "DWTS Live." Monique also hosts and produces her own series, "Gimme Mo'," which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for 2019.

Alyson played Mrs. Darbus, the theatre teacher at East High, and would later appear on "CSI," "Mad Men," "Modern Family" and "Desperate Housewives." She also did voices in "Diablo III" and "Guild Wars 2" video games.
KayCee played Martha Cox in the "HSM" films and went on to appear on "Celebrity Fit Club" and the music video for Lady Gaga's "Telephone." She got married in 2009 in a ceremony attended by "HSM" costars and now has two children, Zetta and Lettie.
After playing Zeke Baylor, Chris appeared in other shows like "Good Luck Charlie" and "The Fosters." His latest projects include "Grand Hotel" and "Sistas."
Ortega directed and choreographed all of the "HSM" films. He went on to directed each of the "Descendants" films as well as the Michael Jackson Memorial. In 2019, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
