Hamlin said the shoot was actually a Mother's Day gift for Rinna, telling Paper the goal was to "do something so unique and cool that she'll forget about that time I forgot to write her that card."
One of the iconic looks was Rinna's Vera Wang wedding dress, which Hamlin said was "like the weirdest thing ever to put on." She added, "Putting it on was the most ... it was the most surreal feeling ... I literally almost started to tear up because I was also wearing your veil."
" I was just blown away," Rinna said of the shoot, saying she had to lock herself into the movie room at home so her daughter could to the shoot around the house. "I had to have somebody come bring me water and some lip gloss because they wouldn't let me out."

While Amelia said she and her mom are "spitting images of each other," she knew she needed to get the hair just right for the pictures. "All I was thinking about was, I need to get my ass to a wig shop," she joked, saying the wig set her back about $200. "All I did for the shoot was buy two wigs and then I went into her bathroom and stole some jewelry."

Added Rinna: "When your daughter's 19 and is recreating your looks, I try to think what my mom would feel like if I wore her looks and recreated her looks. And I think it can take a minute to process it. It's like, Holy shit, how fabulous is this?"
