Matthew Broderick: Shortly after the film's release, Broderick was driving then-girlfriend Jennifer Grey around Northern Ireland when he crossed into oncoming traffic, killing Anna Gallagher, 28, and her mother. He was charged with careless driving and paid a $175 fine. Broderick went on to voice adult Simba in The Lion King, star in Election, Godzilla and Inspector Gadget, as well as on Broadway in The Producers (and its film adaptation), The Odd Couple and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He's won two Tony Awards and has 3 children with wife Sarah Jessica Parker.

Mia Sara: After Bueller, Mia most notably starred opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme in Timecop and in the short lived show Birds of Prey on The WB. She most recently appeared in 2012's "Dorothy and the Witches of Oz." She was married to and has a son with Sean Connery's son Jason, and tied the knot with Jim Henson's son Brian Henson. They share a daughter, Amelia.

Alan Ruck: After Bueller, Ruck's biggest success came playing Stewart on Spin City. He also starred on Broadway in The Producers and currently stars on HBO's Succession. He has two children with his ex-wife Stefany and two kids with wife Mirielle Enos.

Jeffrey Jones: Jones continued to work in films like Ed Wood and Beetlejuice and on TV's Deadwood. In 2003 Jones pled no contest to soliciting a minor to pose for sexually explicit photos. In 2010, he was sentenced to 5 years probation and 250 hours of community service for failing to register as a sex offender. Despite his crimes, HBO still brought him back for Deadwood: The Movie in 2019.
