Meghan McCain / Jennifer Lopez

On her Citizen McCain podcast, Meghan McCain spoke about her alleged experience with Jennifer Lopez at The View, saying, "I, too, share similar negative stories that the entire world does. I feel bad because we’re turning a point where there’s bullying happening to J.Lo. She just is a deeply unpleasant person." She added, "She had the biggest entourage I've ever seen," saying Lopez was "not nice" before concluding, "When you’re coming on a show for a 10-minute segment ... just fake it till you make it for 10 f--king minutes."

While she was a host on “The View,” Meghan McCain says her worst guest ever was Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro. During the interview, she shouted profanities, questioned Whoopi Goldberg’s contributions to Black women, and even threw her microphone, hitting Meghan. “She came on the show and told us we all had Trump Derangement Syndrome, and when we pushed back, she became instantly enraged...I heard Whoopi yelling at her to get the hell out of the building...Pirro went on Sean Hannity's show that night and recalled the episode as if she'd been an innocent victim and Whoopi was insane. I yelled at my TV when I saw that,” Meghan said in her memoir "Bad Republican.” Meghan listed several other celebrities as bad guests, including Nathan Lane, James Comey, Rachel Maddow and Donald Trump Jr.

“Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen spilled that the worst guest he ever had was Amber Rose because she refused to answer questions that she thought might make her look bad. "She didn't want to answer any of my shady questions. She turned to me, she goes, 'Am I a horrible guest?' I go, you are in the running for one of the worst guests we've ever had,” Andy told E! News.

While Jon Stewart was hosting “The Daily Show,” he revealed that his least favorite guest was Hugh Grant — despite the fact that he had spoken to actual dictators on the show! Jon explained that Hugh complained about the clip that was chosen to promote his movie and was an overall unpleasant person. “He’s giving everyone s**t the whole time, and he’s a big pain in the a**,” Jon said while explaining the situation, adding that he would “never” invite Hugh back. Hugh later took to Twitter to apologize, writing, “Turns out my inner crab got the better of me with TV producer in 09. Unforgivable. J Stewart correct to give me kicking.”

During a game of “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts,” James Corden revealed that his worst guest was Rick Ross because he refused to take part in segments on the show that he had previously agreed to. “We sent the stuff to Rick’s people, and Rick had seen it, loved it, and was so excited to do it. Rick Ross came and sat here, and we did the whole thing about binging [Netflix] with rapping. And Rick goes, ‘Cool, I’m just going to go to the restroom.’ About 20 minutes later, we just stood there and he hadn’t come back. Then his management person came back and went, ‘Yeah, Rick’s not going to do that,’” James said.

Host Graham Norton says that one of his worst guests was Robert De Niro but not because he was unpleasant or rude. Graham explained that, unfortunately, Robert is just not a very good storyteller and some of his interview actually had to be cut. “He's not a storyteller, or very verbal. He's a benign presence. Last time he started telling a story — he went on and on. We were all leaning in, willing it to be amazing...Then he finally went, 'Why am I telling this?' Nobody had an answer. We cut it,” Graham said during the Cheltenham Literary Festival.

Jimmy Fallon also listed Robert De Niro as one of his worst guests for the same exact reason as Graham Norton. Although Jimmy personally asked Robert to be the first guest on his new talk show and he enthusiastically agreed, Jimmy says he struggled to get more than one word answers from Robert. And despite the poor interview, Jimmy says he’s still a huge fan. “My first interview ever was Robert De Niro. In real life, he doesn’t even talk much...He came on, and he was Robert De Niro — one-word answers. ‘Yup.’ ‘Nope,’” Jimmy said on “Watch What Happens Live.”

Lorraine Kelly, who has spent over 35 years as a talk show host, said that her least favorite guest on “Lorraine” was Kevin Spacey. Although she didn’t give too many details about their encounter, it was clear that he wasn’t a great guest. "He was horrible. Just very arrogant. I didn't like him at all,” Lorraine told “Hello!”

Before Larry King’s passing, he said that his worst guest ever was Phyllis Gates, the wife of the late Rock Hudson. Larry had promised viewers it would be a juicy interview with details about Rock’s life, but when he began to question Phyllis she only provided one word answers. "I look up at the clock. I'm four minutes in. I got another 56 minutes to do with this woman, who has nothing to say. I almost said, 'Did you know him?'" Larry said on “Sway In The Morning.”

Although he didn’t enjoy the interview, he likes to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was just having a bad day. "Macy Gray. I think she was in a bad mood that night. Although Chelsea Handler welcomed Russell Brand on her show “Chelsea Lately” multiple times, she admits that he was one of her least pleasant guests, partially due to his demands before the interview could even start.
