Gerard Butler (King Leonidas): Butler followed up the film with P.S. Rodrigo Santoro (King Xerxes): Santoro reprised his role in Rise of an Empire and appeared in I Love You Phillip Morris, Hemingway & Gellhorn, What to Expect When You're Expecting and the Rio movies. He also starred on HBO's Westworld. Santoro was killed off of Lost shortly after the release of 300, after his character Paolo and Kiele Sanchez's Nikki were met with backlash from fans. In 2017, he welcomed daughter Nina with Mel Fronckowiak.

Michael Fassbender (Stelios): 300 was actually the actor's first film role and he's been on a roll ever since. Fassbender has won acclaim for his work in Inglourious Basterds, Shame, Macbeth, 12 Years a Slave and Steve Jobs, played Magneto in the new X-Men films and starred in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. He married Alicia Vikander in 2017 and the two welcomed a child together in 2021. In addition to his acting career, he also races cars.
