The Weeknd in total has donated one million dollars to the LAFD Foundation, GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund, and LA Regional Food Bank. He's donated this amount in collaboration with the World Food Program USA and his organization, The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund. The media personality had to evcaute from her home due to the Palisades fire and shared on Instagram, "This has truly been the most devastating unthinkable for so many, and this is our chance to help. From now until February 1st, at all of our locations, we’re offering our STRAWBERRY LEMONADE CUPCAKE. Because we believe in turning lemons into lemonade and 85-90% of strawberries are produced in California...."

TMZ reports that Jason Oppenheim donated $100,000 that is to be split between the L.A. fire department and the L.A. police department. The outlet shares the reason behind the donation is to bring awareness to the needs of these key first responders.
