It's been 20 years since the Emmy-winning sitcom first premiered -- and the show is still just as beloved by fans today. The Office -- which ran from 2005 to 2013 -- made Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Mindy Kaling, and more stars household names. See where the cast is now, over two decades after the show first premiered on NBC.

Steve Carell (Michael Scott): After Carell left The Office in Season 7, he began working in both movies and TV shows. His voice has become immediately recognizable as the man behind Gru in the Despicable Me franchise, which includes four films and two spin-off movies for the Minions. He also voiced the purple monster Blue in the 2024 movie, If. Carell has taken on more serious projects too, including the thriller, Foxcatcher, which got him nominated for the 2015 Best Actor in a Supporting Role Award at the BAFTAS as well as the Best Actor Award for the Oscars. He's most recently been recognized for his work in the drama and thriller series, The Morning Show and The Patient. The actor is still married to his wife, Nancy Carell, with whom he tied the knot in 1995. They share two children.

Rainn Wilson (Dwight Schrute): Wilson's top projects since playing the role of Dwight have included the 2018 movie The Meg, as well as a role in the Star Trek universe. Wilson appeared as the character, Harry Mudd, in both Star Trek: Discovery (2017) and Star Trek: Short Treks (2018). Now, he is no longer in space, but in the American Southwest as he plays Devoted Dan in the thriller series, The Dark Winds, which focuses on solving mysterious murders happening on an Indian reservation. The actor has also taken up voice acting, and he is the resident voice for Lex Luthor in DC's animated films. As for his personal life, he's been married to Holiday Reinhorn since 1995. The pair shares one child together. Outside of acting, he has taken on climate change activism. He's visited countries like Greenland to become educated on the subject and once changed his social media name from "Rainn Wilson" to "Rainnfall Heat Wave Rising Sea Levels Wilson."

John Krasinski (Jim Halpert): Krasinski went on to be a part of multiple blockbusters and highly acclaimed shows. Most notably, he both directed films and starred in the horror movie franchise, A Quiet Place. The story includes two movies, plus a prequel spin-off. John stars in the original films alongside his wife, Emily Blunt. The couple married while the actor was still on The Office and have welcomed two daughters, Hazel and Violet. Krasinski also starred as the title character in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, made an appearance in Marvel's Dr. Strange: The Multiverse of Madness, and produced the reality show Lip Sync Battle, which gained him both Emmy and Producers Guild of America award nominations. Last year, he was all over magazine stands as PEOPLE's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive.

Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesly): Fischer has appeared in many television shows, including Ten x Ten, Newsreaders, You, Me & The Apocalypse, The Mysteries of Laura, and The Guest Book. As for film, she appeared as Mrs. Heron in the 2024 musical film adaptation of Mean Girls. Fischer has also expanded into podcasts as one of the hosts of The Office Ladies. She speaks alongside her former costar, Angela Kinsey. The pair does a deep dive of The Office as they rewatch the sitcom. Its popularity won it the iHeart Radio Award for the 2021 Podcast of the Year. It was also revealed on the podcast that Fischer had battled and beaten breast cancer, and she very much relied on the support of Kinsey, as well as her husband, Lee Kirk, whom she married in 2010.

B.J. Novak (Ryan Howard): After The Office ended, Novak appeared in the Disney movie Saving Mr. Banks as Robert Sherman. A year later, he appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. While filming the office, Novak met his costar Mindy Kaling, with whom he has fostered a strong relationship. He guest-starred on multiple episodes of her sitcom that she created and starred in, The Mindy Project. Novak is also the godfather of her children. The actor has also created projects of his own. Ed Helms (Andy Bernard): While filming The Office, Helms acted in The Hangover movies and continued on with the film franchise after the show ended. He did not stop at The Hangover and has appeared in additional comedy movies, including We're the Millers and Vacation. Off camera, the actor expanded his writing skills. In 2018, he won the Writers Guild of America award for Best Writing for a Comedy or Variety Special for his work on The Fake News with Ted Nelms. He has also appeared on The Daily Show as a self-correspondent. Helms keeps his personal life private, and all that is known is that he is married with two children.

James Spader (Robert California): Immediately after The Office ended, Spader starred on another show, The Blacklist. The drama ran for 10 years, and Spader starred as the main character, Agent Raymond "Red" Reddington. Agent Reddington originated as a top fugitive, but he cut a deal with the FBI to help track down even more dangerous criminals in order to avoid jail time. The series has taken up the majority of Spader's career, but he also became part of the Marvel Universe when he debuted as Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron. In his personal life, he has been married to Leslie Stefanson since 2022. The couple shares one son, Nathaniel. Spader also has two older sons, Sebastian and Eljah, from his previous marriage to Victoria Spader.

Leslie David Baker (Stanley Hudson): Baker took on voice acting after The Office, primarily in kids' shows, including Doug Unplugs and Puppy Dog Pals. He has also worked on the adult animation, Fired on Mars, in which he voices Hubert Danielson. Baker's face does still get camera time. He's appeared in films, such as the 2018 comedy and crime film, The Happytime Murders, and 2014's Jackpot! The actor keeps his personal life private, as there is no known public knowledge about relationships or children.

Brian Baumgartner (Kevin Malone): A year after The Office ended, Brian Baumgartner married Celeste Ackelson, and they welcomed their daughter, Brylee in 2015. In terms of his career, Baumgartner appeared in the 2016 dramedy film Ordinary World, and the 2020 musical film Electric Jesus. He has also continued a career in television with recurring roles in the series Hand of God and The Other Black Girl. Kate Flannery (Meredith Palmer): Flannery has centered her career around voice acting. She plays multiple characters, including Carol and Silver Spark in OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. She not only voices characters in the TV show, but also the franchise's video games. The actress has also taken her skills to the cartoon Steven Universe and most recently, Krapopolis. In 2022, she appeared on the TV show PBC for seven episodes as the character, Jessica. Flannery has also become a contestant on multiple competitive reality shows. She competed on season 28 of Dancing With the Stars in 2019 as the oldest contestant of her season and finished in seventh place. She also competed in the Masked Singer in 2024. Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin): Since her run on The Office, Kinsey has made appearances on top sitcoms, including New Girl and Fresh off The Boat. She's also gotten roles in multiple Netflix Originals as a motherly figure. She plays Miranda Sings' mom, Bethany, in the series Haters Back Off, as well as Jodi's mother in the Tall Girl Franchise. She is a cohost with her former The Office castmate, Jenna Fischer, on the podcast, Office Ladies. Oscar Núñez (Oscar Martinez): Núñez has become his own niche in Hollywood. He often appears in shows as himself or a parody of himself. Mindy Kaling (Kelly Kapoor): Kaling is now one of the biggest names in Hollywood as she's done extensive work in front of and behind the camera. After The Office, she wrote and starred in her own sitcom, The Mindy Project, which ran from 2012 to 2017. The role won her a Gracie Award for Outstanding Female Lead as well as a Satellite Award for Best Actress in a TV Series. She's produced multiple chart ranking shows, including Never Have I Ever, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and more recently, Running Point. Paul Lieberstein (Toby Flenderson): Lieberstein not only starred in The Office, but he was also the producer and showrunner for Seasons 5 through 8. He has continued producing, working on shows such as Song of Back and Neck, Spaceforce, Ghosted, The Newsroom, and Lucky Hank, which he was the showrunner of. He also helped produce the 2022 series Out of Office, another workplace sitcom that followed 28-year-old Eliza and her new job at Wenner Platforms. Creed Bratton (Creed Bratton): In real life, Bratton was part of the band, The Grass Roots, which became part of his character in The Office, in which he played a parody of himself. While the band has not released new records in a while, Bratton continues to pursue music individually. In 2020, he released the album, Slightly Altered. As for his acting career, he has held smaller roles in various projects, including Grace & Frankie, Adventure Time, Into the Dark, Hero Mode, and The Sister's Brother. Craig Robinson (Darryl Philbin): Robinson has taken on multiple voice acting and screen acting roles since The Office. His voice is featured in American Dad as multiple characters, he plays Shark in The Bad Guys Franchise, and he had a role in Sausage Party. Zach Woods (Gabe Lewis): Shortly after The Office ended, Woods starred on Silicon Valley as Jared Dunn from 2014 to 2019. The show followed tech engineers who tried to find ways to become rich in the era of multiple start-ups.
