From the Beyonce story heard 'round the world to her interactions with Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, here are the Tiffany tales you just can't miss.
On partying with Beyonce: "There was this actress there that's just, like, doing the mostest," Haddish told GQ. "She bit Beyoncé in the face. So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to Jay-Z, and was like, 'Jay! Come here! This bitch--' and snatched him. They went to the back of the room,. I was like, 'What just happened?' And Beyoncé's friend walked up and was like, 'Can you believe this bitch just bit Beyoncé?'" She later all but confirmed the actress was Sanaa Lathan.
On fallout from Beyonce story: "I'm super good friends with [Sanaa Lathan's] stepmom and her dad [Stan, a producer-director], and they were mad at me," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "They were like, 'Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it's so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?'"
On Roseanne: The actress said she saw her in her yard in El Segundo. "I say, 'Hiiii, Roseanne.' She looks at me (Haddish makes a disgusted face), and ran in the house." After one of her friends who "looks white" got the opposite reaction, Haddish tried again. "I wave again and say, 'Hi, Roseanne! I love your comedy,' and she (Haddish makes the same disgusted face) and turns her head. I think, 'F--k that bitch.' That was 2000, maybe 2001, so it's not new. She been racist. Why'd you all give her a TV show?"
That time she hit on Leo DiCaprio: "Yeah, I met him at a party two, three months ago, and I asked him if he'd let me hit that," she told THR. "He's like, 'Tiffany, you're so funny.' I'm like, 'I'm serious.' And then he goes, 'I mean, I'd do it.' I told him, 'My only stipulation: I wanna do it with you as your character in 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape.' He starts bustin' up laughin'. 'Why?' he asks, and I say, 'Cause I feel like that performance deserves a real reward and that reward is this (gestures at her own body).'"
On meeting Barbra Streisand at a private dinner: "She's like, 'Tiffany!' And I'm like, 'What up, girl?!' Haddish said she "informed" Streisand about Cardi B and "how she transformed her whole life" to become "a role model to children." She added, "And then we found out we both from the hood, you know? We both ghetto chicks. It's just different times."
On writing to Oprah: "I did this move called 'Their Eyes Were Watching God' and I was an extra and it was a movie that Oprah was producing," she told Ellen. "She had walked by and I was making all the other extras laugh and she said, 'You're a very funny young lady.' I like like, 'Eeeee!'" Haddish then explained how the TV personality encouraged her to keep her updated on her career through snail mail, which she did, but never heard back. She finally met Oprah that same day on Ellen, when Winfrey surprised her on stage.
How Kevin Hart helped her before she was famous: "I was homeless as hell, and I didn't want anyone to know. Kevin noticed a bunch of things in my car and actually took the time to talk to me," Haddish said. "He Gave me $300 and told me to get a hotel for a week. (Mind you that is impossible in Los Angeles y’all.). He also told me to write out a list of goals, get my shit together and start working toward those goals. I did just that and over the years Kevin has always been the big little brother I never had." She added she'd pay him back once she gets on Forbes' highest paid actresses list.
Her pact with Brad Pitt: Appearing on Jimmy Fallon, she recalled a convo with the actor on Oscar weekend. "'Well, if I'm single in a year, and you're single in a year, maybe we could get together and see what happens,'" Haddish said, relaying what Pitt allegedly told her in an elevator at an pre-Oscars party. "And I was like, 'Oh my God! For real? Whoo! I'ma hold you to that!' And then I did some research. He got a gang of kids. I can't do it. I can't do it. I want to be baby mama number one."
